Trick-Or-Treat!

Trick-Or-Treat!

As the countdown to trick-or-treating begins, let’s make sure we have a safe and smart Halloween. Here are some tips to ensure a night of frightful fun:

Ensure your costume is visible at night. Add reflective tape or glow sticks to be seen by drivers.

Trick-or-treat with friends or family. There’s safety in numbers!

Stick to well-lit areas and neighborhoods you know. Create a trick-or-treat map.

Always have a buddy with you and never enter a stranger’s house.

Avoid walking on the road, and use crosswalks when crossing streets.

Parents, check your child’s candy before they dig in. Ensure all wrappers are intact.

Give others plenty of space and respect their property when trick-or-treating.

Make sure masks don’t obstruct your vision. Consider face paint or makeup instead.

Avoid open flames like candles in pumpkins. Opt for LED lights or glow sticks.

Carry a cell phone or have an emergency contact number memorized.

Keep pets indoors to avoid stress and accidents during the festivities.

If you have food allergies, carry an EpiPen and have non-allergenic treats on hand.

Let’s make this Halloween a memorable one, filled with treats and safety!
